Batty up your clothes with awesome bat stencil made by artist Iskra! <\/span>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/iskradinkova\/<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You can also make your own simple stencils.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bring your old clothes \/ bags etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Materials for stencils, paint and brushes will be provided.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kids, families are much welcome. <\/span><\/p>\n

Who can participate?<\/strong> This workshop series is open to everyone. We ask that children are accompanied by an adult carer. There is a maximum number of participants per workshop, we therefore ask the you RSVP in good time to secure a space.<\/p>\n

Accessibility:<\/strong> Warehouse9 has level free entrance to the space and an accessible toilet that can be accessed via a certified stairlift.
\nAll events at Warehouse9 are considered \u201crelaxed\u201d. We operate with a safer space policy and will not tolerate any form of discrimination.<\/p>\n

Can I participate in more than one workshop?<\/strong> Yes! Feel free to participate in 1, 3, or 5!<\/p>\n

Who will facilitate the workshops?<\/strong> Artist, long-eared-bat ambassador and climate activist Linh Le. You can read more about her in her bio below.<\/p>\n

Language:<\/strong> English \/ Danish \u2013 depending on needs of the group.<\/p>\n

Please Note:<\/strong> Warehouse9 is housed in an old factory building. We recommend that you wear warm clothes.<\/p>\n

Much of the methods and knowledge about bats that will be explored during this workshop series come from Linh Le’s participation in the CopenhAustin residency and as a volunteer at Austin Bat Refuge<\/span><\/p>\n

ABOUT THE ARTIST<\/strong><\/p>\n

Linh Le is a performance artist and climate activist. She is also the ambassador of the long-eared bat and part of the performance climate activist collective Becoming Species. Linh spends her time exploring nature, different species and making collective spaces for reflection and action. Besides that, she is also studying NVDA – non-violent direct action and the different strategies to confront injustices and create change.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Playing and exploring with community and other species are at the core of Linh\u2019s practice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Linh will share her methods in exploring bats which have been developed during her one-month CopenhAustin residency by WH9 and MoHA.
