QUEERMASH X OPEN STAGE HOSTED BY BECK HEIBERG
Jump on the QUEERMASH ride for a fun and festive break from yuletide pressures and seasonal commitments. We are warming and decorating the Warehouse9 workshop for a social gathering where all are welcome.
There will be a bar with Warehouse9’s infamous white Yule Glögg, creative activities and this edition of QUEERMASH will also feature a very special OPEN STAGE hosted by Beck Heiberg, a performer and choreographer who has a long history with Warehouse9.
ABOUT THE HOST
Beck Heiberg is a choreographer and performer based between Copenhagen and Berlin. His work spans a wide field of theatre and performance, always returning to his first love — dance. Movement lies at the heart of his artistic language, forming the foundation of his conceptual performance and live art practice, where the movement serves as the primary tool for storytelling. A core element of Beck’s practice is his ongoing exploration of queer and transpolitical aesthetics, both as an explicit and implicit part of his artistry. Beck is an active member of Dance Cooperative – a platform and workspace for intersectional feminist and artistic choreographic practices in Copenhagen.
He has worked with Warehouse9 on several occasions including IPAF festival, residencies and community events such as Tens Club and Trans and non-binary body training and will now be hosting our Open Stage!

What is QUEERMASH?
QUEERMASH is a social yule gathering taking place at Warehouse9’s workshop in Vanløse, it’s a space for the queer community to meet, share, and connect — far far away from the traditional Xmas obligations.

Access Information
Warehouse9 has level free entrance to the space and a gender neutral accessible toilet that can be accessed via a certified stairlift.
All events at Warehouse9 are considered “relaxed”. We operate with a safer space policy and ask that you orientate yourself upon entry to the space.
